Talking Fuel Rail Covers - Polished (Pics)

Hey everyone....

Some of you have seen my previous posts about the fuel rail covers that I have been making for some of the board members here. Well I just got these pictures back from one of the guys that bought a set and I had to post them. He polished them and put a set of Retro Z28 logos on them....I wanted some of the other board members to see what a great job he did on finishing these out.

Great job Z-Man! I think I need to get a buffing wheel very soon!

Also, I still have a few more sets unclaimed....

Wow, he did a great job on them!!! I'm still thinking about picking up a set from you, but I'm unsure. Just a conflict of which mod to do next.

That looks great! Now he just needs a little CD2, and he'll be set!

JACKZ28....I know I am probably going to kick myself in the *SS for asking, but what is CD2?

By the way, You have a great website and one sweet ride. Sometime while you are out over there...Drink an Erdinger Dunkel Weiss for me.

My first set that I made for myself were cut out on my bandsaw from a piece of aluminum that I stole from work and formed using a rubber mallet and a 2x4. The ones that I am selling were laser cut out of aluminum sheet stock and then formed on a press break. I painted mine with gloss black engine enamel and put Camaro logo decals on them, but I think I like them better polished. I may have a polished set in my future.

Thanks,

Aaron

Well guys I'm pleased with the way they came out and the installation was a snap. They fit great and the instructions leave nothing out. Now I do want to ask Jack Z Twenty 8 what the heck is CD2

Beautifully polished to a mirror finish, so that when the drop-dead gorgeous blond comes walking up for car help while you're workin under the hood you can see and quick wipe the grease off your nose to make your suave moves...

Awesome. I still prever the look of the OEM ones myself, but if I didnt get those, polised it would be. Purely awesome.
