Fuel Pressure Gauge. . Mechanical or Electric?
I want to mount one in my A/C vents, but am not sure which one to go with. Im leaning more towards the electric.
Aren't mechanical fuel press gauges suppose to be mounted outside the cabin?

Mechanical gauges tend to be more responsive and are quicker to respond. However, you'll need an isolator if installing one inside the car. I've got one in my car. I've gone through 1 isolator already. These things aren't very reliable but so far the one I have now is holding up good.

Do you want to be in your car driving on the highway, when the gauge breaks and shoots gasoline all over you?

On a side note. I have the Autometer electric half sweep gage. The sender started leaking last May and I ordered a new one in May. Autometer screwed around all summer. They back ordered it, changed the part number twice etc. Now they informed me that there is a safety recall on the half sweep gages for the sender leaking. I sent mine to them and they will be sending a full sweep gage at no charge. The new gage retails for $50.00 more. Apparently they are doing away with the half sweep. If you have one of these gages, you might want to check with Autometer.
My local performance store took care of shipping back and forth for me. I didn't want to deal with it.
