Frosted Headlights?

I was looking at pics of a Chevy Bel Air and I saw this one(here).

was wondering.. where could I get a "frosted headlight" job done? that would be sweet to have the phoenix on my light.

Are you part of LV-F-Body? Might try asking TeeToe Jones on the board, he is into car customizing with his first gen project.

one way to do it would be to have a tint shop cut out your design with tint and apply it to the headlight.

I'm not in the LV F-body, mostly 'cause I don't plan to stay here. My family lives here, and I'm visiting until I ship off for boot camp. I would've joined if I were staying, though...

the tint sounds like a good alternative, but I'm still hoping for a solid answer on the frosted headlights. I was thinking though, that the tint might make some sort of gentle silhouette. that would be equally cool. we'll see...

Etched Headlight

Here's what you do: Go to a sign shop (Fastsigns or something like it) , Tell them you want that design cut out of frosted or etched glass vinyl. It'll look like it's etched, but will be removable if you ever need it to be.

And it'll never burn off or bubble up on you!

J/K - but you better make sure it is some super high heat stuff. If not - it won't last past your first time out. Don't believe me? Touch your headlights after going for an evening stroll.

Just find someone that etches glass - should be a shop around you...might look in the yellow pages.
