I was wondering how much an average front skinnie weighed WITH a tire (15X4 or around that size). According to Brent's site it says it weighs about 10pnds WITH OUT a tire, and has one listed complete with a cooper tire that weighs about 27pnds...but i wanted to know if that seemed about right for weight.
Also, How much does a spare wheel and tire weigh alone? I was thinking...what has stopped people from using their spare wheels, putting correct speed rated tires on them, and using them as front Skinnies? I figured I already have one wheel, and I could probably get the other one from a junkyard real cheap. What does everyone think? Even if the spare wheel and tire weighs a few pounds more than a "real" front runner...it will still be alot less than 45+pnd Stock 16X8 wheel/tire or about 55+ pnds for a 17X9 wheel/tire.
