Front End Conversion
I just totaled my front end of my 93 TA. The Engiene is 100% and my bumper and fender is screwed. I need to know if I can put a 99 firebird front end on my 93 TA. I ve seen it done before but was not sure if its the same bolt patteren. I already found a 99 Bird that is immaculate and can buy right now. But I need to know if I can use its parts. Thanks.

Its be done, i was thining about doing it my self but was going to cost way more than i wanted to pay. i think pretty much everything bolts up, but you need to replace fenders, front bumper, bumper supports ( i think ) lights, light housings, light covers, turn signals, and hood. im some more stuff, but i cant think of anymore off hand. I'd definetly go for it if you already have that parts!
Re: Front End Conversion
Thanks. I found a 99 bird that was hit from behind and the Salvage yard took a plasma torch to the car and cut it in half. so Its cut from the T-tops forward. So It includes half the frame and the front end.(except motor which was a 3.8L) I can get all of this for $1500. Only problem is that Im gonna get crap from my township for havin "junk" in my yard. Its not Junk its Beautiful. But o well they'll get pissed and my neighbors dont care. So I think Im gonna get it when I get another paycheck.

Re: Front End Conversion
I believe it's a pretty straightforward job. You'll just need the hood, front bumper cover, both fenders, lighting and all the misc. brackets, supports, and hardware. Everything else is the same. A guy in my town converted his 96 TA into an LS1 WS6 front end and it looks great. Unfortunately now he gets confused with an LS1 and being almost completely stock gives people a false sense of LS1 power if he runs them and doesn't get a chance to explain. Don't flame me about the LS1 power comment please.
