front end

Hi
a friend of mine has a 95 firebird, he is wondering if he could put a 99 on up nose peice and ram air hood with the air box, was wondering if it would all just bolt up or will he have to change things to make it work. any info would be great.

It is possible, but you would need to change the hood, front bumper, fenders, and all the lights (headlights/foglights/turn signals).

Also a newer airbox would be a little tricky because the throttle body on LS1s is a circle, where his LT1 throttle body is oval. But it can be done, just have to fabricate the intake bellow.

I just finish the front end conversion on my 94 Formula , it's not hard at all if you have all the parts it can be done in one day
just make sure you get the hood hinges I talk to other members and they toll me that I didn't need them but without them you can't alingned the hood with fenders.
