!front emblem.....?

I have already removed the emblem. I would like ideas on how to fill the void. Would simple plastic body filler work or no?

I'm talking about the emblem on the nose that looks like this...

I would like to ultimately end up with a clean delete. I know it will involve body work and paint. I will be doing this when I get the front bumper repainted.

Any input appreciated.

You might consider selling your original bumper (expensive) and using the money from that to purchase an aftermarket "supposedly" stock bumper cover ($75 or less on craigslist or ebay), as those usually lack the space for the emblem. With the money left over, you might be able to afford part of a paint job without having to do bodywork and more-or-less ruining an OEM bumper.

With the nose being very flexible I think body filler would be a big problem down the road. The first time you washed it and pushed too hard it would all crack out. There is a filler out there that remains flexible, (I used it when I filled in for my FMIC) but I don't think it would hold up on the nose giving the amount of flex it would take and expansion it would also endure from being in the sun all the time as well.

Bran is prol right- just try and get a new bumper cover that doesn't have the indent molded into it.

I'm not going to replace the bumper... I might just replace the emblem with something else.

You two brought up good points, thanks

If you end up wanting something completely custom created, I just started offering my services for emblem design as part of my business. You can check out my site for info. I'm still working on the emblem for my car, it was a little too detailed to be cut, so I have to redo it.
