Front bumper emblem?

I had my bumper repainted and I am wondering whether to put the stock emblem back on or buy a different one. What I do not want is

I liked the general design of this one but I'd rather have it with an uniform silver background and the red SS logo on black instead of chrome.

The car is bright red and except for the !blackplasticgrille mod looks stock.

Opinions?

I kinda like both of them but I think without something to accentuate the carbon fiber it will look a tad bland.

I can't find any pics of mine.. but, order a new front nose badge from GM $13, then get with brent Franker (does he still do vinyls anymore!?) he did a custom nose badge overlay for me back when I had my Z. Black w/ red outline and Z28 diagonally from top to bottom with the bowtie still on there in red as well. found it! Very bottom left!

What dealer sells them for $13? When I bought mine it cost me $56.

WHAT?! That's insane.. when I had my car repainted I bought all new badges. The three Z28 badges, front and rear bowtie, and nose badge only cost me around $30.. Granted that was 2 years ago, but I can't believe it went up that much! especially just the nose badge O_O. I remember thinking they were extremely proud of that badge at $13 lol. I'll check with my dealer again next time I get a chance and let you guys know what I dig up.

Thanks Tiger, I'd appreciate that.

Ive seen muffinbuster is back with a new website but none of his emblems seems 100% right.

All car dealers suck around here

Somehow putting an LT1 emblem on my LS1 car does not seem such a good idea

Im not sure how monochromatic would look on the red car. I am one of the uncool Camaro drivers who have no blacked out taillights, no white turn signals and sidemarkers

At least blacked out tail lights, head lights and window tint aren't illegal for you.... Just another reason to hate Iowa.

Blacked out tail lights are illegal here too. So is tint on the driver and passenger side windows and windshield. California doesnt seem to be much better than Iowa ...

sorry it took so long for me to get back with ya star. I've been really busy the last few weeks, I'll have the price on the nose badge later today when I go pick up the new oil drain plug for my formula. Also to hold you over in the mean time, here is a GOOD shot of the overlay for the nose badge brent made up for me. Just took it last weekend actually :P.. my poor old Z is in foul shape..

and the badge still looks great! Props to brent haha

That looks great, tiger!

I'll see whether Brent can make one for me with SS at the same angle.
