Front bumper cover issues

My 1997 front bumper cover (nose piece) has a couple cracks and a little rash in it. What would you guys suggest I do. I'm no body man, but am willing to learn. Should I plastic weld mine, and work with it until it's ready to spray? Should I buy a new factory piece. How well do the aftermarket pieces we see on ebay fit and holdup? What about an original that has beed reconditioned? Thanks for the input.

buy a new one. You will never be able to get those spider web cracks out of it. You can work with it and work with it, but after awhile the new paint will start doing it again. I got a new one from a body shop supply store. It was only $119. It was a oem quality cover and it fit perfect

I've been afraid to buy an aftermarket piece, fearing it wouldn't fit right. What brand did you get?
