Fresh Paint on the Z

Well, I went with cyber gray metallic. Not quite done wetsanding yet and I still need to paint the mirrors and the headlight buckets/grill area but it doesn't look bad for a home/ in the garage paintjob...

You said you did this in your garage? That looks really good.

How much did it cost you and how did you set up your garage? I'm thinking of doing something similar if I can't convince this guy to paint my car for cheap.

haha well this was a graduation present from my parents from highschool (2007) so I've been waiting a while, im already over half way through college now but anyways. They deal was, my dad would help me paint my car and pay for everything so all the cost was just materials which I'd estimate to be around $3-400 including all paint, sand paper, plastic to cover garage, tape and everything else.

as far as the setup, we have an industrial sized fan that we lower the garage door on to and then blocked off the other section of the door with clear plastic.
