Freedom Design Spoiler

I bought one off a member on ls1tech, who said it was on his car when he bought it. Does anyone happen to know where I can get the mounting instructions from? Thanks.

I used to have one of those. It's simple as cake to install.

remove your stock spoiler from the car.
on the underside of the freedom spoiler, there are 4 small holes for mounting screws, which he should have included.
Line up the FD spoiler with the stocker, located the holes and drill em out. install screws and your done.

I used double sided tape also, just for a little extra security at high speed.

Beware with that spoiler than on warm days, your truck shocks won't be able to hold up the additional weight. The trunk lid will fall on your head and it hurts.

And Chris, if you want to get a feel for how heavy a Camaro hatch with blown shocks is, just lift the one on my blue car a time or two!

Does the top part of the stock spoiler seperate? Or do I drill all the way through the original? I'm assuming it seperates.

I think the spoiler would look better with the car being lowered. And guys, he wants my hood so f***ing bad it's not even funny. Wait, yeah it is!

And I agree with you 69z-28...it does need a cowl hood to compliment it. But I think the Harwood or ASCD 2.5" cowl would look better than the 4" cowl hood. That one's just too much in my opinion.

Maybe if you filled in the seams and painted over it it would look better. Too many damn seams. It just looks cheap, but if you like it that's all that matters.

I mod my car to be pleasing to ME only.
