formula and transam

Are there any other differences on the exteriors of formulas and transams besides the front nose clip, side body effects strips, and rear bumper? I know the spoiler is raised sometimes but that was an option.

Also Formula's are lighter than TA's by a couple of hundred pounds. TA's cost more though.

They are typically about 100#s lighter give or take...

it mainly depends on the options in the car, most Formula's don't have all the gadets and whistles that the TA's do... all those do-dad's add weight. Most of that 100#'s comes from the different GFX and such though.

There is no way there is a hundred #'s of difference between the two with the same equipment. The Trans Am rear spoiler is heavier.. at most 20-30#'s, the ground effects at most 10#'s, fog lights.. about 3#'s, front and rear bumper weights are about identical.. maybe 5-10#s difference between the two. We are talking about 50-60#'s at most.

I picked up everything but the front bumper cover to convert my TA to a formula and can tell you by handling the parts there just isn't THAT much of a difference.
