Formula to TA conversion...newbie

Hey guys
I would like to swap out my formula front end for a TA front end. I have a 95 Formula.
Would I need anything special in order to do this besides the front part of a TA?

In other words, are the front ends interchangeable?

Thanks

They should be. I would recomend changing the rear bumper and the rocker panel ground effects as well to keep the lines of the car flowing. Also maybe the high rise spoiler too, but some T/A's were optioned with the low one. Just my .02

i agree. dont put jsut the front bumper. it hangs lower because it lines up wiith the trans am skirts. the Formula doesnt have the skirts so the front end wont line up. EIther do it all or leave it a Formula. FOrmula's are sweet IMO

Everyone that has a bird has a t/a, leave it as a firebird. But if you decide to swap definitly get the front and rear bumper along with the gfx.

i think the formula looks bad ***, specially with a ram air hood and some nice wheels. i'mma get a hatch from a TA and see what it looks like with the up-level spoiler.

I've grown attached to the formula look over the t/a.

but to answer your question, yeah, just pick a front bumper cover, side skirts, rear bumper cover, you're good to go. I'd suggest the hi-rise, but It's kinda overdone IMO

I have EVERYTHING you need, as I am upgrading my LT1 TransAm front end up to the LS1 front end....and putting different side skirts on the car...Only thing I don't have is the rear bumper cover but there is one on Ebay right now for $100. The hood on my clip is a new harwood WS6 hood

So you don't have "EVERYTHING"

You should just leave it a formula. I like the looks of formulas/firebirds with a high spoiler. I wish i had the formula body because thats holding me back from running true duals and dumping them Also, I think formulas look better than trans am's do when they are lowered. Just some things to think about if you have future plans for the car.

The guy who started the thread who hasn't responded to anyone. While I've got your attention... know anyone (preferably with a black firebird/formula) that wants an LT1 T/A front, rear, and side skirts?

I have been replying guys... Just in PMs. I am definitely in the market. I accidentally responded to the wrong person about the side skirts...
