if im buying a cat-back system which sounds better, flowmaster american thunder or SLP loud mouth? its narrowed down to those two, but if anyone knows of something better for under 400 say something . thanks

 

Man I just put a slp LM on my 95 with a gutted cat and it is ungodly loud. I have to go get an hiflow cat to try to tone it down a bit. but in all the LM is awesome

 

oh so the name loud mouth isn't just a marketing scam lol- thanks for the feedback.. yea i was sorta leaning towards loud mouth, i hear it's loud and sweet.

 

Trust me not a scam i will try to get some sound clips for ya tommorow

 

SLP flows much better than Flowmaster as well, just order from someone who has them in stock, cause SLP will take a good 200 years to get it to you... I think someone's trying to organize another SLP LM GP check the boards. I paid 350 for mine shipped with 94 kit and such.

 

Also got the SLP. If you're used to stock, dont worry. I slapped mine on with stock cat and headers, and it was a tad noisy, but it actually started to quiet down after a week or so, like if you dont get on it and keep it under like 1800rpm it's pretty quiet, but get it to 6000rpm and WOT and it's loud! (espicially with high-cat and headers)
