Finished how-to for dash removal and...

I finished my how-to for removing the dash in a '93-'96 Camaro, and also added how to change the color of your headlight and a/c gauge controls. The guide was meant only to show how to take apart the dash, but I went back and took pictures to give a rough idea oh how to change the gauge colors.
Anyway, here it is

Here you go.

The pics are fairly large for just page viewing. I'll try to clean it up later for ya and get it down to a more reasonable size. But, for now, at least it is up

Looks good! I just got an email asking about this the other day... to bad I didn't have this guide then

What pegs are you talking about. Do you mean the gauge needles?

A most excellent write up! Answers just about every question I have about taking the dash off. I for one appreciate your effort.

gauges

what kind of gauges are those and where do I get them? Also will they fit a 97t/a? And to wire the l.e.d's do you just connect the two fine wires to the ground and power?

Nick, I believe those are the reverse indiglo gauges. Found on ebay for about $15 to $20

You have a 97, so yours would be these kind:

About the LED's you have to use a resistor conected to one of the ends on the LED bulb. There are a couple of threads in here that give some more details.

They were the ones on ebay for 15.99+S&H. When I put them on there, the needles wouldnt move. And I think I might have jacked up the gas gauge. Anyways to fix that maybe?
You did take the black bezel from around the gauges off right? The only way I can see that the pegs that stop the needle would interfere is if you're trying to put the overlays over the bezel.

Thats what I was thinking. I went out of my way to find a flash light so I could check how mine are, and noticed its on the plastic piece.
