Lightbulb Finally put '383' emblems on the camaro (pic)

I posted some pics awhile back of these emblems I was getting for my '94 383 stroker. Well I got them like a month ago and finally put them on tonite. I gotta say fishing wire and goo gone was the way to go to get the Z28 emblems off. I will get some better pics, including the badge on the black berger panel, but I thought this gave everyone an idea of how much they really look like the stock badges. I wanted them to look stock, until you look again.

BTW, they are all glossy black. The light reflected making it seem to be white in the grooves. You like em?
I do.

That's the most tasteful displacement badge I've ever seen on a 4th gen.

Looks factory, which in this case is meant as a compliment.

Looks good, now ditch those faded side moldings.

If you don't wanna find it, I am planning on doing this tonite w/ the leftover goo gone.

Just take your time when pulling them off. I let my car sit outside on a sunny day when pulling them off. The added heat made the 2 sided tape come off a little easier. Maybe a heat gun or blow dryer is in order Good luck!

**Edit, where in IL are you?

I have the hair dryer on standby, and the beer will be in the fridge. I am def taking my time because this is all I am planning on doing tonite once I get off work.

To answer your question Champaign IL to be exact.
On a side note, I'm def diggin your tires/wheels on your Pontiac...nice to see something different! Check the sidemolding topic either late tonite or tomorrow and see my results!
-thanks for the advise

I'm doing that too for my stroker!!! either 402 or 416, and in stainless. Same font, but no lines through them. Where did you get yours?

Re: Finally put '383' emblems on the camaro (pic)

For those interested, I got these emblems from:
http://www.gettagz.com/storefrontpro...px?sfid=104163

This company was a breeze to work with. I sent them my idea and within 3 days they had made one and sent me a photo asking for feedback. Because of their excellent work, I got exactly what I wanted.
The emblems were 14.95 a piece, and they charged a one time 'creation' fee of 15 bucks. So to get custom emblems, I paid just about 60 bucks....stainless overlays on ebay go for more sometimes!!

Oh and JoeliusZ28, they can make anything you want basically. Hit them up w/ an email - you will be glad you did!
EDIT: They seem to be made of a plastic thats pretty tough, but it was able to bend and stick just fine on the rear panel. gettagz.com even provided the 3M tape!
