Finally put '383' emblems on the camaro (pic)
I posted some pics awhile back of these emblems I was getting for my '94 383 stroker. Well I got them like a month ago and finally put them on tonite. I gotta say fishing wire and goo gone was the way to go to get the Z28 emblems off. I will get some better pics, including the badge on the black berger panel, but I thought this gave everyone an idea of how much they really look like the stock badges. I wanted them to look stock, until you look again.

BTW, they are all glossy black. The light reflected making it seem to be white in the grooves. You like em?
I do.

If you don't wanna find it, I am planning on doing this tonite w/ the leftover goo gone.

For those interested, I got these emblems from:
http://www.gettagz.com/storefrontpro...px?sfid=104163
This company was a breeze to work with. I sent them my idea and within 3 days they had made one and sent me a photo asking for feedback. Because of their excellent work, I got exactly what I wanted.
The emblems were 14.95 a piece, and they charged a one time 'creation' fee of 15 bucks. So to get custom emblems, I paid just about 60 bucks....stainless overlays on ebay go for more sometimes!!
Oh and JoeliusZ28, they can make anything you want basically. Hit them up w/ an email - you will be glad you did!
EDIT: They seem to be made of a plastic thats pretty tough, but it was able to bend and stick just fine on the rear panel. gettagz.com even provided the 3M tape!
