Ya, seriously!

There must have more metallic content in the paint than pigment!

Ya, kinda overdid it with the flake. Hadn't sprayed it before so we didn't know how much we wanted to use. Definitely see it coming

Heres a couple more pics:

You did that yourself from what I remember, right? That looks awesome! I think it may be a little too "sparkly" but it sure does make that thing stand out! . Nice ride! I'd love to see it in person! I really like the front GFX!

No, no, I didn't mean to imply that I thought you over did it... it is just more metallic than I am used to seeing. However, I LIKE it. That color combo works well and IMO the extra flake doesn't look gaudy at all... looks good!

Defiantly looks awesome. Did you guys mask the flames off yourself? If so, how hard was it because I will be doing it soon on a old tractor trailer. Also, is that just a green flake? What else mixes into the paint to spray flake? Thanks for the help and that looks awesome.

Thanks for all the comments.

Ya, we masked it off ourselves. Drew it first in soapstone(many versions) until we were happy with all the licks, then taped it out in pinstripe tape, then copied it to the other side of the car, then taped it off. BIG Thanks to Dave Ostheimer in Sandusky, OH for the flames. He did the flame design and sprayed the color. I did as much grunt work as I could, taping, removing trim, etc., and picked out the color combo and flake, but he gets the credit for laying it on.

The color is the tips done in a lighter green metallic base coat, then the main candy color combo shot right over the black. Tons of green micro metal flake added to the candy. On a cloudy day it is very ghosty looking flames. In the sun, it is pretty bright.

BTW, the car is also a 396 stroker.
