So im the oddball that waited until winter to do the just-washed thread lol. washed waxxed and driven 200 miles to my gfs house where she had gotten a new digi camera.. heres the results

Looks great! That hood is just beautiful. I'm just not feeling the mufflers for some reason.

 

I think the hood and exhaust are nice, great car.

 

Yeah when i changed from bullets to those i didnt think theyd stand out so much, ive been looking into getting a rear valance to cover them up, but cant find anything other than CME's that do the job without looking out of place without a full kit, so ill probly have a wings west kit before too much longer.

 

Man that car looks great. I really like the darked out look that you have going on throughout. Those true duals make a big difference in the sound? I really like the red taillights on the red body as well but have you ever thought of making the taillights blacked out like your panel? I think that would look real clean IMO. Look in my sig to see how I have done the same dark'd ideas....sorta....that you did.

The car looks good, but try getting it out in the sun next time. Your pictures will look much better.

 

yeah i normally do, but too much sun screws with the red and makes it look orange sometimes. plus i really liked the area i was in lol.

the duals make a HUGE difference in sound, i havent heard any other f-bodys in my area that sound like mine, so thats always a plus. and for the blackouts, i have considered it, but i think its a little too much with the blacked out panel. The only other thing im considering doing in the way of black is a wings west body gdfx kit molded with the bottom 2-3" of the car painted black.

 

Car looks very nice. I have always liked the red with black wheels and tail panel theme. So my suggestions IF it were my car, leave the lights alone, maybe get the door handles and mirrors painted red. Aside from that ....love that bold hood...it screams "I am hear to kick your ***, just save me the trouble, and throw yourself on the floor right now"!!
