Well believe me or not I was going to go back with the factory color but i didnt have the mix and i didn't want to spend 200$ just for 1 part of the color to mix that paint....But yeah i love the purple pearl metallic but i just wanted something different.

You can't shave the door handles on these cars, at least not with any success because the expansion rate of the door material is different than what you will be using to fill the hole. (at least I think I remember hearing that) The sheet molded composite that the doors are made doesn't easily lend itself to modification. You may have shaved the handles on metal doors, but that's a completely different ballgame than what you're working with on a Camaro's doors.

Not necessarily, I like the paintjob alot it looks pretty original, but I guarantee you if you paint the headlight area (maybe even foglight area) black like it was from the factory it will completely change the look of the car. IMO it would look MUCH better that way. But if you like it better this way that's what counts right? We're just giving our opinion...

When I first got my car painted, I left the headlight buckets the same color as the rest of the car. After about 6 months, I decided that it just didn't look right and painted them black. It's MUCH better that way.
