filling in the holes on the !front grill

romeoved my front grill today.....
ok, so I am considering getting some of that fiberglass bondo stuff and geting some dupli color and painting over it. Anyone have any other suggestions? Also, if I get the mesh stuff, would it look ok if I just screwed it into that foam...or does it need to be put at the actual angle of the hole? Thanks in advance!
