Personally I dont think you read enough, cause I searched this a month or so ago, and found about 30 threads on it, and a website explaining everything about the heavy duty wiring harness, but what the hell, I'll give you what information I found.

How bright are they? As bright as whatever housing and bulb combination you choose. I used the Hella FF75's with the bulbs included. Much brighter than the stockers.

Will I blind oncoming drivers? First, in my opinion who cares? I get people coming at me with their brights on a daily basis. Ok I am mean, but further more as long as you point them properly no you wont. I get flashed for having my brights on once and a while, but I got the same treatment with my stock lights too. So what I did was I aimed my brights up high, so the next time it happens, they'll know the meaning of Highbeams!

The lowbeams are perfect for lowbeams and I pointed my Highbeams up a bit for long range lighting. Perfect combination in my opinion.

HD wiring harness is necessary if you go with larger than average bulbs. You'll be fine with the Hella FF75's, use the wires and relay included in the kit.

Get them from ebay from offroad something or other. $37.99 a pair shipped.

The bulbs that come with the FF75s really arnt that bright, I upgraded the bulbs. But i have a serious problem. When i turn my highbeams on they turn on, but will not turn off. I have to turn of my foglights and they turn off. Its weird and cant figure out why

do you have the two wires going into the positive side? if so, try connecting both of them, or disconnecting the one you have connected now and reconnecting the other. it's the "sensor" for the fog cutoff when you have the highs on. either that or you can do the !drl mod

True, but I have my low beams set down pretty low, lower than stock ones. Motorist should be thankful. But it really pisses me off when I get brights flashed at me. Either way we are both evil for doing it, shame on us.

Don't feel too mean, guys. I had a Chevy 4x4 with lift and 4, yes 4 driving lights and 2 fogs. 2 driving on top of bumper, 2 on push bar and the fogs under the bumper. I ran the driving lights through a pair of relays that were activated with the bright circuit. Did it throw some candlepower when I hit the brights

Luckily, I never got brighted by a cop . . .
