fender repair advice needed

A while back a rather sizeable tree fell on my 94 Z28. It smacked up the nose pretty well, crunched the hood, and wrecjed the driver side fender.

A friend of mine was parting out a 95 Camaro and gave me the fender I needed for free, only problem is, it has a chip out of it right where it would meet the front bumper cover. Essentially, the top left corner of the fender has a chunk 1/4"x1/4" missing out of it.

Is there a good way to fix it, or would I be better off finding a differnet fender? Im sure I can get one reasonably cheap, but if I can avoid extra expenses, Id like to.

Thnaks,
Dave

best thing to do is bring it to a body shop and get a free price on what they would charge to fix it, then compare that to getting a new fender somewhere else
