i posted that pic on tech and a bunch of people are saying it's not a 4th gen fbody because of the antenna. while i agree it looks like its in the wrong spot, i found a pic of my own car from that same angle and i swear that is a 4th gen firebird. they think its a 3rd gen or even a mustang 2 (how i don't know) but only the 4th gen firebird has that curve in the door and the door trim matches a firebird as well. even the 4th gen camaro would look different.

Personally, I'm fairly certain it's a 3rd gen.

If they took a 4th gen firebird door and put it on a 3rd gen then i'd see it. but that is definately a 4th gen door. 3rd gen doors are flat

I dunno. It looks VERY much like a 3rd Gen Camaro though...I wish I could find old pics of my IROC in the snow. I mean, the way the snow angle is on the front end, the antenna, and to be honest, the door doesn't really seem to have THAT much curve on it. Also, the tires have raised lettering, not common on 4th gens these days, and they look like 15"s. I vote 3rd Gen.

it may not look it in that pic since its cropped, but take a look at the pic in its full size which is also how it appears on ls1tech. there is a definate curve to the door which is identical to that of a 4th gen firebird. the windshield is also angled back more than a 3rd gen and the t-top opening isn't as large as a 3rd gen.

here is the pic in high res 1229x922

It looks like a third gen. From the front fender openings and flares, wheels, etc. And i think the body line that everyone is seeing is a shadow from another car parked next to it just out of view. 4th gens dont have flares over the wheels. Eric L

The guy took some other pictures too. These cars are all in Braddock, PA. I'll ask if that f-body is at a junkyard or not.
