Everyone that's done a 97+ console conversion come in
Does anyone have the wiring diagram for a 93-96 convertible and a 97+? I have no clue how to wire the 97+ vert switch wiring to my old 94 wiring. The 94 has like 4 wires while the 97+ has like 8. I know a vert guy has done the swap. I just need to know how he wired the crazy thing.
Re: Everyone that's done a 97+ console conversion come in
It's better to me and that's all I care about. The question being asked is how does one wire a 94 to a 97 harrness not which is better and why.
Re: Everyone that's done a 97+ console conversion come in
4 cup holders, 2 power outlets, much more rigid, but most important of all: METAL HINGE for the lid. The 97+ console was one of the first interior upgrades I did, and I'd never go back to that POS 93-96 console.
Unfortunately, I can't help ya out on the wiring though, sorry.

y not keep the 97 switch as a dummy switch, then somehow retrofit your year model switch into it somewhere so that you dont have to mess with any of the wiring? maybe hide it somewhere in the console itself. just a thought
