emblems

Okay I have a 69 camaro in the body shop, and am in a delimma about the badges that I want on there. It is originally a 307 powered car, but converted to a 350, so I bought 350 badges, but I am planning on putting somethin else in there. So the body shop recemended filling in the hole. That would look pretty cool, so now I am thinkin about having all the emblems off, and the holes filled. The CAMARO on the header panel and on the trunk along with the CAMARO on each fender and the engine emblems. What do you all think, I am starting to go for taking the engine ones off, and taking the CAMARO on the header panel and the trunk off. But leaving the CAMARO on each fender on, any comments. Thanks

IMHO, leave them all on, let people know what kinda power you have in that thing. If you have it, show it. Also will keep some original look to it. Some people like the idea of making people guess whats in the car but if you have a 69 camaro, it aint gonna be a sleeper. good luck and its just my .02 cents

You could always fill the holes, grind the mounting studs off the emblems and use 3M double sided emblem tape to mount them, just like the new cars. That way if you get tired of one look or you want to change the appearance, you can add or subtract emblems at will.

I have a friend with a 69 Camaro that was 350 badged car but since he put in a 502/502HP big block crate motor, he dropped the badges and runs it now with no emblems at all. Even the "Camaro" badges he took off. It just looks like a Plain Jane 69 with a decent set of wheels/tires, awesome black paint...... until he starts it up anyway.

Niiice

I would keep all the badges on for the sake of showing off the car and it's power. Plus it gives the car a complete look
