These are the wires available from EliteSparkPlugs.com with the optional 1200* heat shielding. I opted to go with a set of 7/8mm black looms from CenturyPerformance.com (where I found them to be the cheapest)

 

How much did everything run you? I may be looking into getting a set of these at the end of the summer.

 

I called EliteSparkPlugs.com and they had a special going on with their red 8mm wires with 1200* heat shielding for $50. They're typically $69. I also picked up the looms for $39. These prices were all before shipping, so the cost of everything shipped was ~$105. It comes out to be about the same price, if not a bit less, than the set offered by ThunderRacing.com and these are precut, so no need to measure and prep the boots.

Thunder Racing kit. I was going to go with Elite Spark Plugs, but I dont mind doing a little work to save a few pennies.

 

How long did it take to get yours because its been almost 10 days since I ordered my mine and I havent received them yet. I was kinda upset that I paid 11 for shipping that takes 10 days. I hope quality makes up for it. Im not trying to rant or anything IM just trying to get this car done before i go back to work next week

 

It took me about a week to get mine. I'm sorry to hear it's taking so long to get yours, but the quality will definitely make up for it!

the ones from eliteplugs.....you don't have to cut them or put the boots on yourself?

 

nope. they're pre-cut and the boots are already on them.

 

I would definetly go with the pre-cut ones if i was to do it again. Hell, I'd pay an extra $50 to get pre cut wires. Installing the ones from Thunder Racing was the hardest part of my header install! Took about 2.5-3 hours just to cut the wires and put the boots on. The boots seemed like they werent big enough for the wires.

 

Thing is, these end up costing about the same as the Thunder Racing ovc wire set.

 

So I received them and it was worth the wait but for 11.00 they should have got here faster than 11 days..But they are the nicest wires I've seen

 

I'm gonna end up gettin those since they are precut! I'll be out of town for a good 8 days so I won't mind the wait and niether will my car since it won't be moving!
