Eibach Sportline too low

Is the Eibach Sportline springs to low with wings west kit and 17 inch wheels. I want to reduce my fender gap but the pro kit doesnt even look like it lowers your car.

If you want to actually get rid of ugly wheel gap... get some 18's or 19's and a 1.5 inch drop.

In my opinion the sportline kit would be too low... but not by much. You WILL DEFINATELY SCRAPE YOUR AIRDAM all the time though. Not necessarily the front clip, just the airdam.

Thanks for the reply. Does anybody have a picture with the sportline kit. And does it install well with the stock supension components or do i need new shocks and control arms and all that other shish. I like the low racy look thats why i got the ww kit but that fender gap sucks. And i cant afford 18" wheels much less the tires. 17" fit my budget perfect.

Thanks for the pics thats exactly what i was looking for. Very nice car. Did you have to change out your shocks and also is there a real noticable difference looks wise from the 275 tires versus the 245 tires.

sorry-no pics, but lemme tell you-I have sportlines on my Z, and I can't hardly see under the car. I have about 3-4 inches of ground clearence at thesides, maybe an inch less due to a bigger Y pipe. I scrape my air dam every time I pull outa or into my driveway. The car looks agressive as hell and handles wicked, but I just ordered SLP takeoffs cause I'm gonna need at least some ground clearence while I'm at school for PA winters. If youwant em, get used to scrutinizing the road ahead for any bump higher than two inches. They're supposeed to drop it around 2 inches, but I swear mine wne down almost 2 1/4". oh, and speed bumps? Fugget about 'em. Even crawling over 'em sideways won't do. Good luck, and watch out for roadkill

Sportlines are REALLY LOW.

I dont' think you should go for GFX and them together....just get a pro kit or the like...better yet....get some 18's, an SLP Eibach kit, and the GFX....should be perfect.

Cool

I got Sportline's and Bilstein's about 3 weeks ago, and i love them!! I'm not sure about the skirt kit though, might be too low for that. And yes i scrap my air dam, but who cares - no one can see that anyway. i am just careful driving up driveways - but that's the price you pay for the great looks and handling - a small price i think.

I went through this same decision making a while ago. Now that i have them, i love them and wouldn't trade back to the Pro-kit - which is what i had before.

You need to weigh the pros and cons - then decide what you want.

Good luck.

I have the sportlines installed on my car. Pics in the sig. I absolutely love it and serously don't think i'd be satisfied with a 1.5 inch drop to tell you the truth. Also I have only scraped the air dam once in the 4 months i've had it lowered. Just take the steep inclines at an angle. Also the only other suspension mod I did when lowering was an adjustable panhard rod, it was not needed I just wanted to be sure it could be aligned properly.
