Hey, I'm going to buy some Firebird cloth seats from a 2001 that are "Ebony" in color. Is this dark grey, or is this black? My interior in the 1999 Z28 is the dark grey color. Do you guys think these seats will match? The seller described ebony as 8.5 parts black, 1.5 parts grey.

ditto, ebony=black. It should look ok. My car came with graphite interior and black leather seats.

 

I have an ebony interior . Its not black , its just a very dark grey . Much darker than the 97-99 dark grey which was more of a medium grey . IMO , the seat will look kinda outa place in your car . The 97-99 grey interiors other than being lighter by alot have more a true grey hue to them . While the Ebony has a brownish hue to it and is roughly 4-5 shades darker .

You're right your's isn't black and it isn't ebony. I have ebony door panels from an '02 Trans Am in my Camaro and they are black, not gray. Plus look at a dictonary ebony=black not gray.

oh i must have gotten some aftermarket ebony then from a 03 Trans am.
