they want alot for the hood, look on craigslist, because you can work out a deal on there, but yes its a great hood, my friend has one similar on his car, it all depends on how much you want to pay though, good find

 

You think $215 is alot for the hood? or are you adding in the shipping too ? I just dont know if i want an ebay or one from rockauto which would be steel because its stock or fiberglass, i want a hood thats long lasting and $400 and under plus shipping.

 

This is just me but i would wait until a real slp one pops up. I know people that have had bad fitting with aftermarket ss hoods. keep an eye out on craigs and ebaymotors

 

The fitting on my Ebay SS hood is horrible, after two years the fiberglass started to crack and it's starting to spider web in random places. Save your money and buy from a reputable company.

 

Yeah i'm just going to get a replacement SS hood from eaither rockauto or autopartswarehouse, Yeah they are heavier than the cheapo fiberglass ones on ebay and cheaper than the good quaility fiberglass hoods from reputable sites but i dont care. If i want to save some weight i'll just go on a diet. $500 shipped isnt too bad for a stock replacment ss hood.
