Are the SS hoods that are on ebay any good? i just wonder how the quality and fit is since it only cost $350 its for a 99 Z28. i need some answers quick i just hit a deer and need to let my body shop guy know

 

Ok, the one I bought was for $390 and its functional. I really have to say I was impressed. Fit is about an 8.5 to a 9. and finish is a 9 to 9.5. I am very happy. I just had to pull outward the driver side front panel or "quarter panel" whatever its called. But the screw is right there with a bracket braceing it to the frame. A 5 min adjustment.

BUT all aftermarket hoods are not equal, even if they come from the same vendor. No 2 are alike. They may have little indentations here and there that are hard to see but they are there. I Love mine and the only thing missing is the hood scoop insert. But a machine shop is making me a unique one anyway.
