ebay find of the year: Firebird Hurst Hauler concept!

Man the pictures for this car SUCK! They are soooo blurry!

Check out the auction here:

I always thought this car was cool, but these images are so ****-poor that it's a shame to see them. A $70,000 Firebird should have a collection of recent near-professional quality pictures, not cell phone jobs.

Anyway, take THAT Dodge Magnum. (Though I've seen this car a million times) I'd drive it though.

even though the wagon hatch on the rear is nearly useless because of the way the trunk is designed with the huge hump, that would be one beastly magnum competitor lol. anyone else wandering how much that weighs compared to the stock rear hatch?? I wanna say it would be less because it doesnt have the HUGE bubble we call a rear glass... hmmm..

If it has plexi- windows it could easily weigh less than a stock hatch. I know the shocks are busted on my car and even without the wing it weighed a f***ing ton.

Probably just because it is what it is.

Wait... do you guys just think this is a custom job some guy did in his garage?

It's one of GM's concept cars! You don't buy it to undo it. You buy it for historical purposes, or because you like it, not because you want to undo it...

Say what you want about liking it or hating it, it's something that's documented as a concept car and would surely be worth something to someone someday.

Now... get back to the scheduled programming of dissing the poor quality pictures

And check out some nice ones I found here:

No way would I ever dream of taking it apart! I've always like the Hurst Hauler. I didn't realize it was built by GM, though. I thought maybe Hurst did it for their own purposes. If I had money to blow on a collector car, I'd seriously consider adding this to my collection.

I dont think I like it... but I cant tell. Its a great piece of (fiberglass?) work and an awesome paint job. And even if I didnt like it, its still gorgeous in how freaking unique it is.

Though I would rather GM make an actual full-size 5-door RWD/AWD wagon to compete with the Magnum.

EDIT: You know, now that I think about it, I bet your average college kid could shove most of his/her dorm stuff into that thing when moving to school and back. Now THAT would make a sweet college car.
