ebay find of the week... 1 of 3 '96 Earnhardt Camaros

Most people just think of the Intimidator Camaro SS made by GMMG when they think of Dale Earnhardt special edition Camaros, but there were actually a few more. The Signature Series went on for a few years before the Intimidator SS.

One of these happens to be on ebay with an amazing/hopeful/extravagant buy it now price of $175,000. It's 1 of 3, though it doesn't say which one it is.

Very interesting interior.

More pics and stuff here:

This car suffers from the fact that just about anybody could make a reproduction/replica of it without much trouble. The bodykit is fairly standard, the decals are small, and the interior could be somewhat copied without even taking any measurements. The only thing you can't copy is paperwork verifying it's legit. And the fact that some fans probably care a lot about having a car signed by their hero.

Those seats are pretty cool. I've seen pictures of these cars before, they're alright but I wouldn't own one. I'm just not a NASCAR fan and I wouldn't buy a car just for the value it may hold. Now a 93 pace Camaro...I would LOVE to have one of those one day.

I agree. I'm not a NASCAR fan, so it does nothing for me. I kind of like the seats though.

A '93 Pace Car would be badass. You don't see those around too much these days. I've always liked the interior in those, even though my friends think it's cheesy...

I think the interior is the absolute coolest part of the 93 pace cars. Although I'd be too afraid to sit on those seats knowing how the bolsters wear. I could only imagine how impossible it is to find new material for them. What I would probably end up doing is either make it a garage queen or take the original seats out and get a set of regular Camaro seats for non-carshow use.

Amazing how little of a description there is for such a lofty price tag...

sweet car, im a NASCAR fan, but i dont think i'd pay that much for that car. especially since theres so much other stuff out there signed by Earnhardt, that can be had for cheaper. but def a nice car, one of a kind.

It's nice in person. I like the interior. There was actually a matching Camaro jacket made back in 1993, if I was at home, I could post the pic. It's completely out of style these days, but still cool.

Please post pics of this jacket later on. I would like to see it. And I like the interior too. It looks very cool in person and ties in perfectly with the exterior of the car.

Did you know there was a jacket made especially for your 30th Anni car too? I think I have pics of one of those too. If I remember correctly, it had the brickyard logo on it.
