i have polished aluminum eagle 077 wheels... the front wheels were too dirty for too long, and when i went to clean them with soap and water and wheel cleaner there were many black dots still left behind... how can i get rid of these? thanks in advanced

I have heard many people on this board use many different things. I have the white salad shooters, and are they the biggest PITA to get cleaned. I have the same problem. for a while I was using that purple power liquid stuff that every store has now. It worked great. I went to long without washing them and now even that stuff doesn't work. I have heard things like that Turtle Wax wheel cleaner thing, Oxy Clean and even Vinegar with water. I would try a strong dose of Oxy Clean, but test it on a small spot first just in case.

my salad shooters used to have bad stains on them. i reccomend eagle 1 mag wheel cleaner. dont leave it on too long. its pretty powerful stuff. also meguiers hot rims works well and its a bit safer but not as effective as the eagle 1 mag wheel cleaner.

They are polished so you should be ok. Plus I think that if something went terribly wrong you can just re polish that area.

About the mods...let me tell you, it is LOUD! I mean F'N LOUD! It's Much louder than just the loudmouth by itself. And you can hear and feel the Throaty rumble coming from the Y Pipe at lower RPM's. And I defintely felt a performance gain. ESPECIALLY at higher speeds. When I hit 70 or 80 and give it gas while in 6th I feel a big difference. Acceleration off the line is much better also. When I get my headers they will be mated to the Borla pipe and it will be even louder yet. Let me mention that after about 3 weeks I did get a ticket for : "unnecessary noise" to the tune of $116.

But it does not affect your insurance. And you can get a million of them and as long as you pay them or get your car fixed they won't care. If you have any other ?'s drop me a line..good luck.
