Dyed the floor mats
Heres a before and after...

By the way, the dye didn't come out uneven, its just the direction of the carpet/lighting. Its alittle darker then the carpet, but overall I like the way it came out, and it was alot cheaper then buying new mats, and these ones fit perfect(since they are the originals).

Re: Dyed the floor mats
I used this stuff from the supermarket, rit black, 15. I used about half the package in a container with 2 gallons of warm water and dipped them in, then pulled them out immediately(sp?) and let them sit for roughly 10 minutes(alittle less) then hosed em off and shop vaced most of the water out and let them sit in my laundry room till they dryed. Have no clue how its gonna hold up, but for now it satisfied me(and it cost me all of like 3 bucks and 20 minutes of my time). Those last pictures they were still alittle wet, now that they've dryed completely(overnight) they look pretty damn close to the carpet, passenger more so then the drivers.

Sorry about how dirty the rest of the interior is, its been about 2 weeks since I've cleaned it.

Re: Dyed the floor mats
I've dyed clothes with that dye before. It holds up pretty well, but as it fades I think it turns a mauve color. You know, a dark gray-purple color.
That's better than it fading to a dark green color though in my opinion.
