Dual Headlights

Is there any way two make the high and low beam work at the same time but so that the high beam is not so bright that it can be driven in the city. I dont do much country driving. I was thinking of splicing into the low beam wire and running it over to the high beam housing but was wondering if it would overload something or take to much power away from the low beam. But I think this would proably make the high beam mode unuseable so is there a way to do this and still have access to use highbeams, if not its not that big a deal.

hmm, cheap and easy way: black outs, you get the eqivilent of low beams with both low and high on

other than that, what about running them both and using a voltage adjuster on the highs

Painless wiring has a kit for just what you are asking.
It's meant for trucks but could easily be adapted to our cars.

As for the position of the highbeams - just adjust them down so they face the road and not the oncoming cars.
Good Luck!

OOH OOH! I KNOW I KNOW!
How 'bout just put a 9006 bulb into your high beam housing? Then it would be like running 4 low beams - but remember, if you did that, then when you were running all 4, that would be as bright as it got, no click of the **** and getting brighter...

Doesn't all four headlights stay on when you switch over to brights? I thought mine did? Those kits just make them all stay on...

make all your lights low beams.
I dunno if that would be too much loan on the electrical/charging system if you have a system or anything else?

just a question but why do you want all 4 lights on at one time anyways, if you do all city driving isn't it pretty light out already

Its not really a city even though its classified as a city 600,000 plus people. Some parts are lite very well while others not so bright, not many street lights. And my buddy has a Honda S2000 and man those lights are nice and ours suck. I have Piaa Hyperwhites in my low beams and want to but them in my highbeam houseing unit and light the road up better, not to blind anybody just more lights
