Dropping my Z with 18s? will it work?

Im told when u run 18s in front u need a skinny tire.. im lookin at 18x9.5s Chrome Z06's on 275/35/ZR18 Kuhmo Supras.. now can i still lower my car say... 1.25 inches to make it look a bit better? i should i just toss a Wtype kit on it.. or both? comments? thanks

275/35 18's will fit with no problems with the drop. I think you should do both.

I would try and get a 40 series tire on there , to get rid of some of the wheelgap.

Then with a 1" drop you should be fine with W-Type kit.

within the next month i will putting 19x9.5f and 20x10r wheels with 275/30ZR19f and 285/30ZR20r tires and also installing a Wings West w-type ground effects, i also already have the Eibach sportline springs (2 inch drop) on the car already......
so i will let ya know how it all works out. I already realize that i will not be able to put the nose of the car over parking blocks, and watch my butt entering and exiting driveways and parking lots...
And i'm gonna have a hell of a time getting a floor jack under it!!
but, that's the price i'll have to pay to get it to look the way i want!!

i was helping my freind but exhaust on his civic hatch (damn ricers) it sits like and inch and a half off the ground.. mabey 2.. i mean the thing is LOW! what we did was roll it up on 2 by 4's.. (i guess tha cars a little higher then 2 inches if we fit a 2x4 in there hehe) but that got the car high nuff for a very low jack

This guy here:

http://community.webshots.com/album/39868981bExyyF

is running 18x10's on all four wheels with 295/35/18 tires all around with no rubbing, and he is dropped with Eibach Sportlines.

I think his user ID on here is tlo94ta

I also just ordered 18x10's for all four wheels for my car and will be lowered with the DMS springs and running either all 295/35/18 tires or 315/30/18's on the back and 275/35/18's on the front, or possibly run 275/35/18's all around. I still can't make up my mind which tires to run.

Me, yea I got 2" Drop with Intrax Springs and running 18s all around with no rubs. Copmletely different look, No wheel gap at all. And dont' get 275/40/18 Tires, get the correct size, else your 18s will look like 17s.
