My factory fog lights are lame. The factory-spec halogen bulbs (45 Watt) are not impressive. I would like to dis-assemble the thick lens and either clean it, or replace it with a flat lens. Is there any way to remove the lens from the housing? I would like to install the bright LEDs out now, instead of the halogens. If anybody has one or two fog lamp housings (L & R), that would help here, because so far, I'm prolly just gonna break something . . .
For reference, the GM P/Ns for the housings are 10280985 / 10280986.
