Don't know what to do next...

I wouldn't paint the interior if I were you, it doesn't look "professional." It looks nice, but how many high end cars have you seen a painted interior on? You do see matching panels, but they are designed to be that way. Our interiors (all 4th gens, '93+) are too simply designed to paint panels and make it look professional. A custom C/F setup would be nice, but so would thin metal. A polished aluminum setup would look nice and clean, also sort of "retro" yet new. Taking cues from the new Mustang (it's the only sports car I can think of with this type of interior at the moment) prototype, along with many many other newer vehicles. A lot of custom work could be done, but it's gonna depend on how much you want to spend and how much time you want to devote. You could actually make the overlays or whatever out of some aluminum flashing, custom fitting it yourself, and bending/beating it into shape yourself. There are lots of opportunities, but it is kind of hard to describe over the keyboard - so if everyone is thinking I am crazy, you just can't see what's in my head.

You do have leather seats don’t you? I can’t remember, but if not, that would be a very nice upgrade. If you like the look, McKewen (sp?) makes some silver face gauges. A buddy of mine with a T/A sanded misc. pieces of his interior to a smooth finish, and painted them black, that looks pretty good as well if you don’t want to get to drastic with it as the other ideas suggest (carbon fiber/aluminum, etc.)

You should really check out their site...pretty neat
Yeah, I do have leather seats, but the bolster on my seat is wearing thin and I don't know what to do with them. I want to keep the 30th Anniversary logo in the seats. Is there any way to just fix the bolster so everything still looks stock?
Brian, check these kits out. They are a sponsor on LS1.com. I don't know what you are looking for, but the price is not too bad.

You could probably take your seat to an AUTOMOTIVE upholster (get references) and they could probably fix you up.
