It should bolt up, but I think the firebird front ends are wider then the Camaros. Fenders, I mean.

Headlights and hood won't work. I can't say for sure bit I think the front fenders might be different as well. There was a test mule pictured somewhere of a T/A or firebird with a Camaro front end on it. It had all the front panels replaced and it still looked like crap.

Yeah, it will require some work to get it to look right I'd imagine. The panels bolt up, but they don't fit exactly proper.

I had a feeling it was an article on this site:

https://www.camaroz28.com/99fbody/index.html

That's the car I was talking about. It's a Trans-Am with an LS-1 Camaro front end. I know it's not the same as the LT-1 front end but it gives you an idea of how the Camaro fenders would look on the T/A body. It's really rough looking...I'd stick with the Firebird stuff.

I bet if they used the running boards or whatever you call those things off a Camaro, the front fenders would have fit a lot better.

I just don't think there's any way to make it look like it should naturally be that way. The profile of the fenders and doors are different, you'd almost have to put Camaro doors on the T/a to make it really look right. I just don't think it's worth it. The Firebirds look good on their own merit, no need to go mixing the two together.

somewhat OT, but how would a camaro hatch look on a firebird? just the hatch/spoiler?

Sounds like a wonderful idea... not to try.

I don't think it would flow. I don't know anybody with a Firebird or else I'd compare them side by side and see the difference between the hatches.

That woudlnt look right at all, The rear quarters on the camaro are made to flow into the spoiler, otherwise it sits about 3" above everything else on the rear and flows with nothing. I just cant picture that looking right at all. (just going from when i had my spoiler off for paint)
