I am thinking of swapping some grey leather AQ9 Trans Am seats into my Camaro. My Camaro is a 1999 and has the dark grey leather interior, I think its callled Graphite

Can I find a set of trans am seats that match, did GM use the same interior colors for the Camaro and Trans Am?

 

They both share the same colors but in 99 GM added another color option called ebony. Ebony (like a very dark grey, almost black) looks very similar to graphite but when placed next to each other you can see the difference. Make sure interior is either graphite or ebony and just get the same in the seat and you'll be all set

 

You have any pics of the two? I have dark grey leather door panels from a 99 T/A that are actually not that dark at all and my hatch panels are from the same car I believe but they are pretty dark. I want to redo my sail panels and kick panels to match the rear ones but I'm not too sure exactly what the color is specifically called now because I figured ebony=black. Now I'm all confused

 

You got me confused too because I though ebony was jet black leather?

 

Ebony leather seats will look black in the shade, or night, but when the sun hits them, you will see its a very dark grey.

 

okay, I don't have ebony because my seats are obvisouly grey
