Does ANYONE know if third and fourth gen carpet interchange?

Does ANYONE know if third and fourth gen carpet interchange?
Got a good deal on carpet from a 97 Camaro... I have a 92 needing some interior fixup. Wondering if it will fit.

I believe they will. I have seen carpet for sale listed for 82-03 many times. I really don't see how there can be too much of a difference, even 4th gen seats work in 3rd gens

I've taken carpet from a '95 Camaro and put it into a '91 Camaro.
Yes it will fit, but some of it has to be modified (not much). Looks alot better IMO.

so can i do the opposite take carpet from a 3rd gen and put it into a 4thgen? because 3rd gen carpet goes for lot cheaper on ebay for some reason.

Thats a good idea. Too bad I just bought brand new 4th gen carpet
