i also wanted to do this on my '95 camaro...i asked one guy and he said its not hard to replace the ttops with a kit, but its hard to waterproof it...i talked to another guy who said its hard to do becuase the windshield is a support for the roof and i guess ttops screw something up...everybody i asked about it, said to have a shop do it, but they'll charge a lot...i might replace them myself and hvae somebody waterproof it.

sorry dude, you made no sense, and there is probably not one shop that will do it because of somethoing happens, they don't want to be liable. It's a do it yourself, or have friends help you do it kind of deal.

www.speedautomotive.com has a complete kit for $400 including ttops. This kit doesnt include the headliner though because it's too hard to ship. You'll have to purchase the headliner from your dealer for $90. Finally, if you want the job to look totally factory, you'll need a new piece of windshiely trim for ttops. This will also have to come from the dealer but is cheap I believe.

Thumbs up

This was very easy to do. I am happy with mine. One thing though *****CUT IN FRONT OF THE GROOVE IN ROOF NOT ON IT********If you dont then you will be buying a new roof section for $317 wholesale cost or rigging up soom fiberglass to fill in gap. I am going to be cutting and welding sheetmetal to make my corners flush so I can get rid of the silicone that makes mine waterproof now. Dont be scared you can do this yourself

I called around locally about 2 months ago and no shops would install t-tops for me because they said the windshield wouldn't be supported. Is this true?
