Question do your ttops leak?

I am going to buy a 2000 or 2001 camaro. I am trying to decide if i want to get ttops or not. I do want them but I dont want to have my car leaking when it rains. I am interested if your ttops leak and if so how bad? I am going to make my decision very soon.

Thanks,
James

Mine leak, but only in high pressure situations. They will leak in a nontouch car wash and in a down pour. however, I have heard that they are adjustable.

go with t's if ur gonna use them maybe 3 times a year. i liek t's better than verts because i feel they seal better in the winter they give it a closed interior feeling and also a sun roof. mine dont leak going on 60k its a 95 unless u use a pressure washer and i think its just going through the window seal then anyways. if ur getting a newer one it should be cool. u can always buy new seals?

My '96 T/A has T-Tops and they've never leaked; even at the car wash (please don't hate me Zaino people).

By contrast my old '88 firebird's T-Tops would leak in drizzle, so if anything the 4th Gens T-top design is lightyears better IMHO

Either way, Good Luck with your future Camaro!

Defenatly get the T-tops.
The leaked once in the touchless power wash - but how
I thought I'll have an aquarium in my car. They never leak under the wether or when I wash the car myself.

Slightly at the front of the driver's one along the window edge.

But Sooo much more functional than a Vert.

Unhappy My t-tops Leak!

My t-tops have been great since my car was new until today when we had some heavy down pours and now my tops leak somewhere between where the plastic and rubber on the t-top meets the wall of the car. I tried pouring water on the roof while it was raining but I could not track down the drrp. I tried the hose as well but the water ran down the out side of the door and then inside the car at the bottom some how from the bottom edge of the door. No water is coming in between the window and the seal itself. The leak is hidden... help!

I also have T-tops and they havent leaked since ive owned the car. The only time ive ever seen water break the seal is in a touchless car wash, my pass side seal between the window and the t-top let in about 2 drips. Thats all ive ever seen and my car has almost 90,000 miles on it.
