Do you like the look of these tips?

sorry, just realized my poll question is asked funny, and the answer's don't really make sense
question should ask: "Should I get rid of these exhaust tips"

My car had these exhaust tips on it when I bought it. It has quad 3" VW style tips. I've never been a big fan because they are ricey looking. A part of me says, "keep them, they are different".

How do you think they look? Keep 'em? Or, nix 'em?

Don't those shoot a lot of exhaust up onto the bumper? Probably hard to notice on a black car... meh. If you like them, then they are fine.

They look big, but they don't look bad. Better big exhaust on a V8 vs a 4cyl! How does it sound?? I'd keep em because like you said, its different and gives it a custom look.

Sounds great, full 3" exhaust from the cat, custom build by an exhaust shop. I don't even know what kind of muffler it is, some kind of generic flow through design, I guess. When I first test drove it, I thought the cat was missing/gutted.

I agree, I always see those tips on either imports or domestic compact cars, never on a f-body, Stang, Vette, GTO, ect. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the looks or the big gap they make between the bumper. Just my two cents though.

To me, the way they angle up just screams "Ricer".

They aren't bad looking tips, but they're just slightly too large. If money is an issue, I say keep them. If you've got money to blow, I'd go for something a little smaller.

I just thought of something. Wouldn't those tips cause rain water to store in the muffler and cause it to rust the entire exhaust system?

I'm going to have a muffler shop fab a Y-pipe, and I'm thinking about having new ones welded in then

There is a drain hole in the tips.
