yes. they make 55w bulbs called like all other bulbs "hyper white." they are cheap and look good. go to auto zone or wall mart

Pep boy's sell halogen backup lights. They are about $8 or $9 bucks each. Those suckers are bright. They really help when backing up in the dark.
