I just got a set of new gfx off ebay that came from RKsport. They didn't come with any screws, only the tape on the insides. Are you just supposed to pick up your own screws from Lowe's or something?

 

Most decent kits will come with more than enough self tapping screws. I think you just found another problem with RK Sport.

 

Maybe a little late but, the rk sport kit should come with plastic fasteners. Screws are only used to mount the ends of each piece at the wheel wells. Im sure rk sport will sell you the fasteners by themselves.

 

What kind of plastic fasteners and what for? My kit only came with the preinstalled double sided sticky tape and the 4 screw/side for the ends.

P.S. These are plan black body screws you can get at any auto parts.

 

I bought my SS hood from them, I had to call 3 times to receive items they forgot to pack in. Or there supplier w/e.

I don't know the proper name for them but I'll try to describe them. They are two piece and you have to drill a hole in the body for the "anchor" piece which slides into the pre-existing hole in the kit and the hole that you drilled in the body. The second piece is like a pin in which you push into the anchor piece which spreds it out. Kinda like a drywall anchor. Sorry for the lame description.
