Don't worry about the conversion kits, just wondering if the bulbs will work like on the camaros?

 

Gotta use a Sealed Beam conversion kit to use 9005 or 9006 series halogen bulbs. the LT1 Camaro/Birds use Sealed Beams. LS1 Birds use Sealed Beams. LS1 Camaros use a bulb that is independent of the reflector housing.

 

On my 97 camaro i just resealed them with high temp silacone and stuff. it worked fine. I just need to know if these bulbs will work with the birds too ( plug in and go in housing fine).

 

In that case, I doubt it. the LT1 birds had a single sealed beam with dual filiments.

eurolights.com has sealed beam conversion kits that allow the use of 9005 9006 bulbs. what bulb they config it to use on dual filiments im not sure. 9007 maybe?

 

damn sounds like im gong to have to use the conversion kit, i was hoping i wouldnt have to use cash on that.
