Digital gauges for 4th gen???

Is there any particular reason why no aftermarket company has made a completely digital replacement gauge cluster for 4th gen f-bodies??? I want to convert it to digital, however, I don't really want to resort to "fabricating" my own out of pod gauges...

that would be sweet. I would like to see a digial guage like the ones on the S2000. That would be pretty sweet.

one thing you have to keep in mind though is that digital guages have trouble keeping up with large rapid increases in speed. Especially on a fast car like a 4th gen, theres going to be lots of gaps between readings. Digital looks awesome, but that reason has steered me clear of looking into doing this project on my own.

Well, when I finish modding my car, it should be able to mechanically (dunno about areodynamically) reach the 200 mark, however, the OE speedo stops at 150. Going digital is the only feasible route I can see. I think it's expected to be jumpy in numbers when under quick acceleration. Every car I've seen with digital gauges does the same thing. It's just a quirk digital gauges have. It's like having a polyurethane tranny mount vs OE - do you want comfort & quiet? Or do you want something that's not gonna break every 3 months?

PaulN64...maybe we could get together a large enough interest to make a group purchase with Dakota Digital...
