Did the Sylvania Silverstar Conversion

I did the headlights, all 4 of them (about $100.00) and used a 5 min. epoxy and clear silicone to seal them back. I had the whole job done in just a couple of hours (taking my time). As for the appearance at night, after I adjusted the low beams a bit, I'd say it is worth the money, but is not going to be spectacular.....the light output is very white, and not for those of you looking for an HID look. On back roads with high beams on, there is a noticeable difference, but nothing appreciable around town, except for the whiter beam, (and it does look better). I would recommend it, just don't expect miracles for only $100.00

btw, I didn't need a torch to remove the old bulbs, just put a pair of channelock pliers around the plastic rim, and gently twist back & forth until the seal breaks loose.
