Decal Matching, Colors?

I'm going to decal the rear center bird/ta and the door ta logos. The car is green with black wheels and the center door trim is also the same matte black as the wheels are painted.

Question is: I don't think the black will match the door trim if I used black on the door decals. It, of course, won't show up on the rear center panel in black for obvious reasons (black on black). Also, the P O N T I A C decal inlays below the rear center-panel - I don't want those to clash. I'll want to match the mini-bird on the hood, too. Perhaps a combo of black some places and chrome or silver others?

Note: fogs, markers, turn-signals are all blacked-out. Wheels are black.

Should I go with Chrome on the rear and door panels? Will it stand out too much? Would Silver be better? I'm not looking really for a 'color' as much as an 'accent'. As you can see from picture below, I've toned it down - so I don't want too much 'flash'. I can't decide on a color or color combo to use. Opinions/suggestions appreciated.

Rear for 'Firebird and 'Bird' decals and 'P O N T I A C' decals

So:
Door decals (2): <your color here>
Rear Center-Panel decals: <your color here>
Rear PONTIAC decals: <your color here>
Hood decal (sm. bird): <your color here>

Stick with the green/black scheme IMO...esp since you have black wheels.

If you had chrome of silver wheels MAYBE chrome or silver badges would look ok, but I think you are best keeping with the black/green combo.

Doors, 'Pontiac', Front bird-black, center panel- green. And while you are at it colormatch the door handles and get some smoothlocks...

Smooth-locks are a good idea, too. Do you typically order those in the color of the car (if possible) or do they come standard colors/black/etc? The places I've looked don't show color options, which has me confused...

Smoothlocks come in a gloss black finish and need to be painted.

I have a dark green camaro, and I went with silver for the rear bumper letters and then lightly sanded and painted with a GM silver the "z28" on either side and the back. Its nice and they pop.
